Shanghai Huaihai Road Retail Complex is a 20,000m² flagship development on Ruijin Road, commissioned by Chong Bang Group as the commercial and leisure anchor to Metaphorm’s wider masterplan and building directly on our urban design proposals for Huaihai Road near Mouming Road. Located on one of Shanghai’s principal shopping avenues, the project is conceived as a highly adaptable retail framework capable of accommodating major international brands in multiple formats: a small number of strong ‘epicentre’ stores with clear streetfront identities, a single tenant operating as a department store, or a fine‑grained mix of tenants in a more traditional mall configuration.
